Bhubaneswar,02/11(PPT): Electricity supply has been restored to 99.05 per cent of consumers affected by Cyclone Arnab and the subsequent floods in eight districts of Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said on Monday. In a post on X, the Chief Minister said power supply had been completely restored in Boudh, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur districts. All 33 kV and 11 kV feeders, along with 33/11 kV substations, have also resumed normal operations in these districts. Restoration work is continuing on a war footing in the remaining affected areas, with officials of the administration and electricity department working round the clock to reconnect consumers still without power. The government has prioritised the restoration process to ensure that electricity supply is fully restored across all affected areas at the earliest, Mr. Majhi said.
