Jajpur,07/09(PPT):Development of the Korei Assembly constituency and building a stronger and more prosperous region will remain his key priority, said MLA Akash Das Nayak, calling for collective participation of people across the constituency.
Addressing residents, Mr Nayak described women, senior citizens and young people of Korei as “soldiers” in the effort to protect Odia identity and the pride of the land while working towards the constituency’s overall development.
“Firmly committed to the development of Korei, we will transform its overall landscape,” Mr Nayak said, outlining his vision for the constituency. He said his objective was not limited to infrastructure or economic growth but also included strengthening the sense of identity and self-respect among the people.
Mr Nayak said he had remained committed to serving the people of Korei since being elected as their MLA. He assured residents that his doors would remain open to address their concerns and issues.
He also appealed to people to work together beyond political affiliations for the development of the constituency. “Let us join hands and work together to make Korei a strong constituency,” he said.
The MLA’s remarks come amid an emphasis on participatory development, with local representatives increasingly seeking greater public involvement in identifying and addressing issues concerning infrastructure, employment, basic services and welfare.
Mr Nayak reiterated that sustained cooperation between the administration, elected representatives and residents would be essential to achieving the development goals set for Korei.
