Jajpur Police Ensure Smooth Conduct of Chief Minister’s Jajpur Visit.

JAJPUR,14/10(PPT): Odisha Police deployed 22 platoons of personnel to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s visit to Jajpur district on Wednesday. The visit to the industrial hub of Kalinganagar concluded without disruption, with coordinated security arrangements, traffic management and close cooperation among the police, district administration and other agencies.

The Chief Minister attended official programmes at Telibahali, IMFA and Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL). Elaborate security arrangements were put in place at the venues, approach roads, designated parking areas and other strategic locations to ensure the safety of the Chief Minister, other dignitaries and the public. Personnel were deployed to regulate access, manage crowds, maintain law and order and facilitate the smooth movement of the Chief Minister’s convoy.

The arrangements were supervised by Dr Satyajit Nayak, Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Cuttack. Special attention was given to preventing traffic congestion and minimising inconvenience to commuters during the programmes. Field officers maintained close coordination to ensure that security protocols were followed and the scheduled engagements proceeded smoothly.

“The successful completion of the Chief Minister’s visit reflects the coordinated efforts, preparedness and professional commitment of Odisha Police and the district administration. Our priority was to ensure the safety of the Chief Minister and other dignitaries while maintaining law and order and minimising inconvenience to the public,” Dr Nayak said.

He appreciated the police personnel deployed on duty, the district administration, industrial establishments, security agencies and members of the public for their cooperation. Odisha Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining public order, ensuring security and facilitating the smooth conduct of important official programmes across the State.
