Duty to God is not limited to prayers, rituals or visits to places of worship. It is reflected in our honesty, compassion, dedication and commitment to serving humanity. True devotion begins when we perform our responsibilities sincerely and treat every person with dignity, kindness and respect. Every individual has a duty towards family, society and the nation. A teacher fulfils this duty by educating children, a doctor by caring for patients, a police officer by protecting people, and a farmer by producing food for society. When these responsibilities are performed with sincerity and without selfish motives, work itself becomes a form of worship. God does not judge devotion merely by the words we speak, but by the goodness we bring into the lives of others. Helping the poor, supporting the helpless, speaking the truth and standing against injustice are meaningful expressions of faith. Even the smallest act of kindness can bring hope and happiness to someone in need. In today’s world, where people are often driven by personal ambition and material success, the importance of duty must never be forgotten. We should perform our responsibilities honestly, even when nobody is watching and no reward is expected. Such dedication strengthens our character and builds a peaceful and harmonious society. Ultimately, duty to God means living with a pure heart, a clear conscience and a spirit of service. When we fulfil our responsibilities with love and integrity, every action becomes a prayer, every service becomes an offering, and every good deed brings us closer to God. The greatest worship is to perform our duty sincerely and serve humanity selflessly.
