BJP leader Manoj Mohapatra meets matric topper in Bari .

Jajpur, 06/05(PPT): In a gesture highlighting the importance of academic excellence and youth development, BJP Odisha spokesperson Manoj Mohapatra on Tuesday visited Bari Assembly constituency and met meritorious student Shubham Sahoo, who secured an impressive 573 marks with an A1 grade in the matriculation examination.

Hailing from Kakudikuda village under Jhalapada Panchayat, Shubham has emerged as the top scorer in Jajpur district, bringing pride to the region. Mohapatra personally visited the student’s residence to congratulate him and his family for the remarkable achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohapatra said, “Students like Shubham are the true assets of our society. Their dedication and hard work not only bring laurels to their families but also inspire countless others in the region.”

He emphasised the need to create a supportive ecosystem for students in rural areas. “Educational development must be our top priority. We need to ensure that talented students from villages get proper guidance, infrastructure and opportunities to excel further,” he said.

Interacting with local residents and the student’s family, Mohapatra also stressed the importance of strengthening basic educational infrastructure, including quality schools, access to digital learning, and mentorship support.

“Every child, regardless of their background, deserves access to quality education. It is our collective responsibility to nurture their potential and help them achieve their dreams,” he added.

The BJP leader further assured that efforts would be made to address gaps in the education system in the area and encourage meritorious students through recognition and support.

Shubham’s achievement has been widely celebrated in the locality, with many seeing it as a testament to the potential of students in rural Odisha when given the right encouragement and resources.

Mohapatra wished the young achiever a bright future, expressing hope that he would continue to excel and contribute meaningfully to society.
