Cm Majhi Plants Ashoka Sapling on PM Modi’s Birthday .

Bhubaneswar, 17/09(PPT): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday planted an Ashoka sapling at Lok Seva Bhavan to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.

The plantation was part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a State-wide programme that includes tree plantation drives, blood donation camps, the Seva Jyoti Yatra and other public outreach initiatives.

Mr. Majhi had also appealed to people across Odisha to light an “Ashirwad Ka Diya” at homes, temples and public places as a mark of their wishes for Mr. Modi.

He urged people, including beneficiaries of government welfare schemes, to participate in the programmes and share photographs and videos of the celebrations on social media.
