Jajpur,07/09(PPT): Known for maintaining close contact with people in his constituency, Badachana MLA Amar Kumar Nayak has sought to position himself as a leader who remains accessible to the public and responsive to their concerns. Addressing a public gathering in Badachana, Nayak said the BJP-led double-engine government in Odisha was committed to serving the people and fulfilling the promises made during the elections. He said the state government had made significant progress within a short period and was working to translate its commitments into action Describing the government as a “people’s government”, Nayak said efforts were being made to reduce the gap between the administration and citizens and ensure that public grievances received timely attention. “The people of Odisha elected us with high expectations, and we have accepted the responsibility of fulfilling the aspirations of 4.5 crore people,” he said. Nayak said the people of Badachana had consistently extended their support and blessings to him and assured them that he would remain available to them in times of need. He said he regularly listens to public grievances and follows up on issues to ensure their resolution within a stipulated timeframe. He also visits villages to understand first-hand the problems faced by people in rural areas. “My doors are always open to the common people. I will make every effort to develop Badachana in every respect,” Nayak said. He further said the BJP remained committed to strengthening its organisation at the grassroots level in Odisha. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, he said, development activities in the state had gained momentum and every part of Odisha would benefit from the government’s development initiatives.
