Three killed and two injured in road accident.

Jajpur,07/08 ; Three persons were killed and two sustained serious injuries in a road accident on NH- 16 at Rathia Chhack under Dharmasala police station in Jajpur district on Friday wee hours when their car dashed with a truck.Three died on the spot after suffering serious head injuries.All three deceased persons have been identified as Sujit Giri, Ajgar Ali Saha and Dipankar Panja of Kesapur under the Contai police station in East Medinipur district of West Bengal.Both the injured persons- Jadu Kaur and Suntia Giri were shifted to SCB medical college and hospital at Cuttack . We suspect that the driver of the car had dozed off at the wheel as a result of which the vehicle hit the truck at around 4.30 AM , said the IIC of Dharmasala police station, Saroj Sahoo.They were going to West Bengal from Bhubaneswar in a four wheeler bearing registration no- WB 32 L0752 when the accident took place .Careless driving was stated to be the cause of the accident, said an eyewitness.
