Jajpur,08/08(PPT);Containers of stolen beef were seized from Kantapada junction of National Highway 53 in Jajpur district. According to reports, local Bajrang Dal activists stopped the vehicle this afternoon after receiving a report that about 20 tonnes of stolen beef was being transported in a ten-wheeler container vehicle. Jenapur police arrived at the spot, seized the vehicle and detained three people, including the driver, for further investigation. The container was reportedly smuggled from Calcutta to Andhra Pradesh. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
