Jajpur,16/09(PPT): A seven -feet long Indian rock python was rescued on Monday from a four-wheeler at Tentulikhunti village in Jajpur district where it had got trapped inside an air conditioner.
It was found inside an air conditioning unit in the car while the owner was washing his vehicle on the occasion of Viswakarma Puja. We rushed to the spot after getting information from the car owner and rescued the python. The rescue operation lasted around five hours as the python was safely rescued after the AC unit was removed from the car and disassembled.The reptile was examined for injuries and was then released into the wild, said Jyoti Ranjan Mohapatra the Forest Range Officer of Jajpur Road.
