Central Range DIG reviews arrangements for Kali Puja and immersion in Jajpur.

Jajpur,05/11(PPT): Deputy General of Police (Central Range), Charan Singh Meena, on Tuesday visited Jajpur and reviewed police arrangements for the ongoing Kali Puja and the upcoming immersion ceremonies, scheduled for November 8,9 and 10, in Jajpur and Jajpur Road.

The visit focused on ensuring public safety, managing crowds effectively, and maintaining smooth traffic flow throughout the festivities.

DIG Meena held discussions with SP Jajpur Yashpratap Shrimal and other senior officers to assess security plans and take preventive steps to avoid any incidents during the celebrations. He directed officers to increase vigilance, particularly at immersion points, and to work closely with local puja committees to ensure that all safety guidelines are followed. Sufficient police personnel will be deployed at key locations.

Shri Meena also urged the public to cooperate with the police, follow the given instructions, and contribute to maintaining peace and order.

The DIG assured that the police are fully committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees during the celebrations.
