India Chem 2026: Odisha Eyes ₹54,000 Crore Investment, 20,000 Jobs .

Jajpur,24/10(PPT) : Odisha is looking to strengthen its position as an industrial investment destination, with the India Chem 2026 initiative expected to attract potential investments of ₹54,000 crore and generate around 20,000 employment opportunities, Korei MLA Akash Das Nayak said.
In a statement welcoming the development, Mr. Nayak said the initiative reflected the State’s growing industrial ambitions under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
He said the anticipated investments could open up new avenues for industrial expansion and employment, particularly for young people. The expected job opportunities, he added, could contribute to the State’s economic growth and help improve livelihood prospects for local communities.

Mr. Nayak described the initiative as an important step towards building a prosperous Odisha and attracting greater investment into the State. He said efforts to establish Odisha as a leading investment destination deserved appreciation, as industrial development could create opportunities across sectors and strengthen the State’s economic foundation.
The MLA expressed gratitude to the State government for its efforts to promote industrial growth and attract investors.
