MLA Himanshu urges people to help 16-month-old Trisha battle SMA .

Jajpur,30/09(PPT): Dharmasala MLA Himanshu Sekhar Sahu has appealed to people and organisations to come forward with financial assistance for 16-month-old Trisha Ray of Ramapur village under Areikana gram panchayat, who is suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type-2 and requires prolonged and costly treatment. According to her family, nearly 6 crore is required for her treatment, posing a huge financial burden on the family. Extending support to the child, the MLA has contributed 5 lakh from his monthly salary and urged others to help meet the enormous medical expenses. “Every contribution, however small, can bring hope to a child fighting for her life. I appeal to everyone to come forward and support Trisha and her family during this difficult time,” he said. He also prayed to Lord Jagannath for Trisha’s speedy recovery and expressed hope that collective support from the people would help the little girl receive the treatment she needs.
