MLA Akash Das Nayak Joins ‘Green Korei’ Drive JAJPUR .

24/08(PPT): The ‘Green and Korei’ programme was organised at Badakainchi Gram Panchayat under Rasulpur block in Jajpur district. MLA Akash Das Nayak inaugurating the plantation drive.

MLA Nayak was accorded a welcome near Madhuban Haat by local BJP workers led by panchayat BJP president Prakash Sahu. As part of the programme, saplings of coconut, lemon and other varieties were distributed among villagers and school students. The MLA also planted saplings on the premises of the Near temple.

Nayak appreciated the residents for taking care of around 700 saplings planted earlier in the panchayat, which are reportedly growing well. He emphasised the need to continue such initiatives to promote environmental protection and increase green cover in the area.

Among those present were the MLA’s block representative Prahallad Panda, Social media coordinator Padmalochan Nayak, former block chairman Shashibhusan Sahu, Niranjan Pradhan, Atulya Pradhan, Koraei block representative Dhaneswar Barik, Mandal president Binod Maharana, Zilla Parishad member Shishir Mohanty, Subash Nayak, Prasanna Patra and Prabir Nayak. Members of the ‘Akash Bahini’ also assisted in conducting the programme.
