JAJPUR,04/04(PPT):Odisha Handloom & Coperation Minister Pradeep kumar Balasamanta laid the foundation stone for the restoration and construction project of Biraja Hat near the Maa Biraja Temple In Jajpur District On Friday .Over 17 crore rupees have been earmarked for the development of Biraja Market. The project is scheduled to be completed by January 2027. Minister Balsamant said that the upgraded foundation and well-organized new Biraja Hat — featuring 124 permanent shops, 312 vending stalls, packing areas, aisles, a security kiosk, a bakery, drainage systems, and more — will promote the social and economic development of the local area. If the Biraja market project becomes operational, the local area will gain a safe and clean marketplace. At the foundation-laying ceremony, Jajpur MP Dr. Ravindra Narayan Behera and District Collector Ambar Kumar Kar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Tapas Ranjan Dehuri, SE of Roads and Buildings Komal Kumar Swain, along with other administrative officials and local residents, were present.
