Three arrested hurling bombs at RTI activist.

Jajpur,08/04(PPT) : Police on Thursday arrested three persons in connection with an attack on the RTI activist and BJP leader Sarbeswar Beura on 27th March night in Jajpur district. All the three arrested persons hurled bombs at Sarbeswar Beura at Imam Nagar under Dharmasala police station when he was returning to his home at Jaraka along with an associate in a car. Sarbeswar was first admitted to the Community Health Center (CHC) at Dharamsala. Later he was shifted to SCB medical college and hospital at Cuttack and his condition was serious. The motive behind the attack is yet to be established . They were booked under 307 (attempt to murder), 34 (common intention) of IPC and section 3 and 5 of Indian Explosives Substance Act. Steps are on to apprehend more accused persons in this case. Further investigation is going on , said Rahul P. R the Superintendent of Police , Jajpur. Rilu Beura the wife of Sarbeswar Beura on 28th March filed an FIR in the police station and alleged that Pranab Balabantaray the MLA of Dharmasala was behind the bomb attack.
