PWD on alert for Yass: Taraprasad.

JAJPUR,26/05: While the extremely severe cyclonic storm Yass has triggered panic in the State, the Public Works Department has braced up to carry out restoration work if any damage is caused to roads and other infrastructure in Jajpur district. The PWD Cuttack Circle Superintendent Engineer Taraprasad Mishra has directed the officials to tour various parts of the district and estimate the damages caused.The department officials led by Executive Engineer Arun Patnaik also distributed dry food to the affected people during the inspection. SE Mishra said he has a soft corner for people of Jajpur district and he would make all efforts for its development.He asked the officials to ensure that the people do not face any problems in the aftermath of the cyclone.
