Nation Organisation felicitated Two engineers for Covid work.

JAJPUR,31/01: Well-known social organisation NATION virtually felicitated Public Works Department Superintendent Engineer Tara Prasad Mishra and Executive Engineer Arun Patnaik for their work as Covid warriors.The engineers despite the shutdown toured various areas in the district and took stock of the ongoing development projects. Besides, they carried out various social activities like distributing masks, sanitisers and free food to the needy people. Mishra said it gives him immense pleasure to serve mankind in these difficult times.During the second wave of coronavirus pandemic, the Covid-19 positive cases and deaths are soaring alarmingly in the country and Odisha.This is putting strain on the health infrastructure and the health workers.At this crucial juncture, everybody should cooperate with the Government and obey the Covid protocols strictly. If it is not essential one should not venture outside their homes.It is better to stay at home to keep the virus at bay. Hand washing, masking and maintaining social distance are the best weapons against the virus spread.So kindly follow Covid appropriate behaviour to keep yourself and your family and friends safe, Mishra appealed, The State Government is committed to provide the best of services to people and improve their daily life by upgrading the infrastructure. The Government goal is to provide bridges for smoothening the transport system, schools and colleges for education, healthcare facilities for patients. Besides, the river embankments are being strengthened to protect the residents from floods.The Works Department has resolved to complete the projects within the stipulated time-frame laying stress on quality aspect, said Executive Engineer Arun Patnaik.The Government is always there for people and is aware of all their problems,said Patnaik.
