JAJPUR,24/06(PPT): Many new development projects are underway in Jajpur distrcit. Thanks to the relentless efforts of Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das and Odisha Engineering Servise Association president and Public Works Department (PWD) Cuttack Circle Superintendent Engineer Tara Prasad Mishra.
Renovation and widening of roads in Jajpur, construction of medical college, Government buildings, hockey stadium, Administrative Bhawan and a 150 feet statue of Lord Shiva are among the development projects being taken up by the PWD. The prestigious project has been initiated with the efforts of Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das, who is constantly making efforts for development of the district. The project is expected to boost the tourism potential of the district and increase the tourist footfalls.The State Government is committed to provide the best of services to people and improve their daily life by upgrading the infrastructure.The Government goal is to provide bridges for smoothening the transport system, schools and colleges for education, healthcare facilities for patients. Besides, the river embankments are being strengthened to protect the residents from floods. The Works Department has resolved to complete the projects within the stipulated time-frame laying stress on quality aspect, said PWD Cuttack Circle Superintendent Tara Prasad Mishra. “If you have a strong will then anything can be possible,” said Mishra who is frequently visiting the district to ensure timely completion of the projects . PWD Executive Engineer, Arun patnaik who is known to be an efficient officer, is supervising the projects. Recently Nation and Other social organisation virtually felicitated Public Works Department Superintendent Engineer Tara Prasad Mishra for their work as Covid warriors.
