Arrested lover of Jharafula remanded in police custody for three days.

Jajpur,01/02 : Rakesh Swain the alleged lover of the deceased tribal college girl was remanded in police custody for three days by the court at Jajpur on Monday for further interrogation.Police arrested on Friday Rakesh Swain on the charges of killing and dumping the body of the 21 year old tribal college girl Jharafula Nayak at Mulapal Chhack under Kuakhia police station in Jajpur district on Wednesday .The police prayed on Friday in the court to allow them to take on five -day remand the accused but the court allowed the police to take him on three -day remand from Monday. We will interrogate Rakesh the main accused after getting him on remand , said the IIC of Kuakhia village Manoj Kumar Swain.A case was registered in this case under 302(murder) and 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of IPC and under section-3 of SC and ST(Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, added the police officer.
