MP, MLA Meet Odisha Chief Minister, Seek Crime Branch Probe into Pihu Missing Case.

Jajpur25/08(PPT): Jajpur MP Dr Rabindra Narayan Behera and Dharmasala MLA Himanshu Sekhar Sahu met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and discussed a range of issues concerning the district, including the flood situation, overall development and the transfer of the much-discussed Pihu missing case to the Crime Branch.

During the meeting, the leaders urged the state government to ensure immediate relief and essential assistance for people affected by the floods. They also discussed measures to improve infrastructure, roads, education, healthcare and basic public amenities across Jajpur district.

Speaking about the meeting, MLA Himanshu Sekhar Sahu said that priority should be given to providing timely assistance to flood-affected people and accelerating development works in the district.

The alleged disappearance of Pihu also figured prominently in the discussions. MP Dr Rabindra Narayan Behera said that ensuring justice for the child’s family and bringing the truth to light remain the top priorities.

He said he had held detailed discussions with the Chief Minister on transferring the case to the Crime Branch to facilitate an impartial and fair investigation.

The MP further said that he has consistently raised issues concerning the interests, safety and rights of the people of Jajpur and would continue to stand firmly with the people in the days ahead.
