JAJPUR,19/09(PPT): Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Dharmendra Pradhan received a warm welcome from BJP workers and supporters at Chandikhol Square in Jajpur district during his visit to Odisha. Pradhan was on his way to Bhadrak when local BJP leaders and workers gathered at Chandikhol to greet and felicitate him.
Barchana MLA Amar Kumar Nayak led the local BJP workers in welcoming the senior BJP leader. A large number of party workers and supporters assembled at the roadside and extended greetings to Pradhan as his convoy passed through Chandikhol. The workers presented him with a traditional welcome and expressed their support for the party leadership.
The gathering reflected the organisational activities of the BJP in the Barchana area, with party workers turning up in considerable numbers to receive the senior leader. Local functionaries said the visit provided an opportunity for grassroots workers to interact briefly with Pradhan and convey their greetings.
Pradhan acknowledged the reception and interacted with the party workers for some time before proceeding towards Bhadrak. The local BJP leadership said such interactions help strengthen communication between senior leaders and workers at the grassroots level.
