110-feet statue of Lord Shiva is Jajpur soon.

JAJPUR,18/03(PPT); A 110 -feet high statue of Lord Shiva would be constructed on the near the Baraha temple on the banks of river Baitarni in Jajpur district. The tender for the project has been floated and the construction work would start soon and be completed within a span of six months. The tourists can have darshan of the Lord by a lift and also have a sky view of the river front, said PWD Cuttack Circle Superintendent Engineer Tara Prasad Mishra. Executive Engineer Arun Patnaik would supervise the project. The prestigious project has been initiated with the efforts of Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das, who is constantly making efforts for development of the district. The project is expected to boost the tourism potential of the district and increase the tourist footfalls.
