Swarna dhanush yatra Reaches In Jajpur.

Jajpur,16/01(PPT):A 286-kg ‘swarna dhanush’ (golden bow) yatra organised by the Sanatan Jagarana Manch, at kuakhia in Jajpur on Friday.The yatra will pass through several districts of Odisha before departing from Puri’s Jagannath Dham on January 19 and culminating at Ayodhya on January 22. The bow measures 8 feet in length and 3 feet in width, and weighs 286 kg. It is made up of 240 kg of copper, 2.5 kg of silver, 20 kg of mica, 22 kg of iron, and 1 kg of gold used as 10-micron plating.The bow, inscribed with tributes to India’s military achievements from Kargil to Operation Sindoor, was made by 40 women artisans from Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. It has an idol of Lord Jagannath and a filigree crown.Dharmasala MLA Himanshu sekhar Sahoo Senior & BJP leaders, were present. MLA Himanshu said The yatra carried a large, sacred bow as a symbol of Sanatani faith, devotion, and tradition& Devotees gathered in large numbers to welcome the yatra as it passed through their towns, chanting “Jai Shri Ram” and offering prayers, viewing it as a historic and holy journey connecting Odisha to Ayodhya.
