JAJPUR,15/07(PPT): Sukinda MLA Preeti Ranjan Ghadei on Thursday inaugurated the Rengali left canal at Danagadi in Jajpur district.
A dream project of the MLA, the canal constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 250 crore, would benefit seven panchayats and irrigate 1,552 acre of land.
The Korai area and the MLA’s old constituency would also benefit from the project. Agriculture activities can be carried out in both the Sukinda and Danagadi areas in the coming summer season as enough water would be available for irrigation facilities.
