Bhubaneswar/Jajpur,24/09(PPT): Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati felicitated and congratulated the team of Odia film Lahari, which was named the Best Odia Film at the 72nd National Film Awards, during a courtesy visit to Lok Bhavan here on Wednesday.
The delegation, led by producer Jhilik Bhattacharjee, met the Governor and shared their experience of receiving the national honour. Dr. Kambhampati congratulated the cast and crew and described the recognition as a matter of pride for Odisha. He appreciated the collective efforts of the team in taking Odia cinema to the national stage and wished them success in their future creative endeavours.
The Governor also encouraged filmmakers to focus on meaningful and impactful cinema, noting that films can serve as a powerful medium to inspire young people and contribute to positive social change.
