Malkangiri,14/01(PPT):Malkangiri Utkal Sahitya sansad is celebrated 182nd birth anniversary of Fakir Mohan Senapati in Jagannath Palli High School . In this program, President of Utkal Sahitya Sansad Keshav Chandra Naik presided the in the meeting. The chief guest Ex MLA Manas Madkami, Odia lecture Tapan Kumar Behera as the Chief Speaker, Ex Sub-Collecter Rathi Krishna Patra, Poet Duryodhan Maharana, Suryakant Panigarahi as the guest of honor were present in the meeting. Tapan Kumar Behera Kumar Behera enlighted in detail about novels and stories of Fakir Mohan Senapati. Chief Guest Ex MLA Manas Madkami commented on Fakir Mohan’s contribution to the development of Odia language literature. President of Utkal Sahitya Sansad Keshab Chandra Naik said that Malkangiri as a border district of Odisha is going through a crisis of Odia language. keeping in mind, Utkal Sahitya Sansad has been trying to promote the Odia language and literature and creating poets and writers. This institution has been Preaching since about 35 years.Fakir Mohan struggled to improve the literature of the Ordia language during his tenure . Our organization continues to strive for his responsibility. Fakir Mohan is our guide and the eternal supporter of the orthodox race. On this occasion, poet Duryodhana Maharana’s poetry collection “Chakanayan” was launched. The students of Jagannath Pally High School were awarded while reciting poetry .
