Dharmasala records 4,300-unit blood donation on Modi’s birthday .

JAJPUR,17/09(PPT): A series of programmes were organised in the Dharmasala Assembly constituency in Jajpur district on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on Wednesday.

As part of the celebrations, a blood donation camp was held in Bhubaneswar, with a large number of people from Dharmasala constituency participating. According to the organisers, 4,300 units of blood were collected from the constituency, which they claimed was the highest contribution among the participating Assembly constituencies.

Dharmasala MLA Himanshu Sekhar Sahu also donated blood at the camp. A large number of men and women from the constituency had travelled to Bhubaneswar to participate in the programme.

Later in the day, Mr. Sahu visited the Gokarneswar temple, where he joined party workers and others in offering lamps and prayers on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday.

Dharmasala BDO Jyotirmay Kar and athlete Dutee Chand were among those who participated in the programme, along with a large number of local residents.
