Jajpur 15/08(PPT): 70 units of blood were collected a blood donation camp organised Inner Wheel Club & Rotary Club at Jaraka In Jajpur District on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Dr Bijay Kumar Satpathy.he Said Blood donation is a noble act where a healthy person gives a small amount of blood to help save sick or injured people. It takes a short time, causes no harm to the donor, and provides a lifeline when no artificial substitute exists. “Accidents often result in severe blood loss, and tragically, many lives are lost simply due to the unavailability of blood at the critical moment,”. Inner Wheel Club President Kalpana Parida Said highlighted that blood donation by one person can help three persons needing blood.
