Jajpur ,29/09(PPT ):An awareness programme on storage licences for minor minerals, the e-lottery system and maximum sale price (MSP) was held at the Jajpur Zilla Parishad conference hall here on Tuesday. Jajpur Sub-Collector Tapas Ranjan Dehury, DDM Jayaprakash Nayak, mining officials J.K. Sethi, Bishal Thakur and Mahesh Chandra Nath, and JMO officials Ashok Kumar Mohanty and Chhayakanta Mahanta attended the programme. Officials explained the procedures for obtaining storage licences, the e-lottery process and provisions relating to MSP, while participants discussed various aspects of minor mineral storage and sale. The programme was aimed at improving awareness among stakeholders and promoting compliance with the regulatory framework governing minor minerals.
